Single CPU configurations only four sockets (2 banks of 2) can be populated. Dual CPU configurations all eight sockets (4 banks of 2) can be populated. All populated sockets must be of the same capacity.
Customers MUST order the upgraded Fan Kit (X7418A) to use the S-V240/2G kits.
If your Open Boot PROM (OBP) is 4.11 Version 4 or newer you must use the S7602/1G part numbers. Otherwise use the S-V880/8G part numbers. |
