The HP 2500C Series Color Printers include the following models: 2500C, 2500C+, 2500CM
This printer ships with 4MB of non-removable base memory.
There are two DIMM slots (Slot 1 and Slot 2), which support: a PostScript DIMM (has 8MB on-board RAM), a PCL 5 Personality DIMM (has 8MB on-board RAM), or the special HP 8MB DIMM.
There are two SIMM slots (Slot 3 and Slot 4), which support 8, 16, and 32MB SIMMs. To utilize SIMM memory, the PostScript and/or PCL 5 DIMM must be installed. SIMMs do not have to be installed in pairs.
The printer can access a maximum of 72MB of memory while printing in PostScript and PCL 5 mode. It can physically accept more than 72MB of RAM, however, it will not use the additional memory.
